Matches the in-app policy. Core features do not use a backend.

Fieldeng does not require an account and does not run a backend for core features.

What stays on this device

Calculations, measurements, locations, photos you attach, presets, and drafts are stored locally on the phone. Clearing app data removes them.

Camera

The meter reader runs on this device. You confirm every reading before it fills a field. Frames are not uploaded.

Microphone

Voice entry uses the operating system's on-device speech recognizer when it is available. If that recognizer is missing, Fieldeng does not send audio to a network fallback.

Network

Core tools work without a signal. Optional crash reporting or anonymous product analytics are not enabled in this build.
